About The Hindquarter Quarter Butchers, Knott End-on-Sea, Lancashire
There has always been an established butchers shop in Knott End on Sea serving the local community. Eric & Charlotte Danson took over The Hindquarter in 2004 and set about bringing it up to date. A major refurbishment in 2007 provided an inspiring environment in which to shop. Both from a farming background with qualifications in agriculture and animal science, they have the technical knowledge and expertise to provide customers with premium quality products for their meals. Our philosophy being committed to locally sourced prime meats from real farms.
We are proud of our creative approach in providing the ingredients for practical modern meals. Making our own sausage and burgers and curing our own bacon has allowed us to have total control over product quality and we are sure you will find the character and flavour excellent. Our homemade sausages are locally renowned. With a wide range of flavours and a "reduced fat" range there is something for everyone. We cure locally produced pork on the premises which makes our secret recipe dry cured bacon. Available in back, middle or streaky, our dry cured bacon is guaranteed to disappear only when you eat it not when you cook it!
